Sixth Graders
By Jada Pizarro Sixth graders are having a tough year. No one is being nice to each other or adults in the building. No matter how big or small the consequence is no one cares. The same people act out over and over again like they are on a mary-go-round not wanting to stop but knowing they should so they don't get sick. We sixth graders have been together for years and will continue to be together and these next six years are going to be hard on everyone if we don’t start acting like a community. Another problem with the sixth grade is we think we can’t be friends with people who aren’t as popular as we are or people who are cooler than us. I think we shouldn’t even care how popular we are or how we look, each one of us is special in our own ways and if others can’t see that then that stinks for them. I know everyone says to just be yourself but we all know that when you are in middle school that is hard to do. I think we should all try to sit with someone in our grade who we don’t normally sit with. Just by doing something as simple as that could change the way we think of others.

This is a very negative message and not representative of the entire grade. We are a great group of students.
