Winter is almost at its end,
as we enter the summer bloom I presume there will be flowers within an hour the sun rays will lay amongst me while I swim in the dim of the light, outside the night is where the delightful wonderful, waves brush upon me. When cold goes away the bold, bright, beaming Sun comes to take its place.

Vacation has arrived,
I can’t wait to fly, Down the mountain side, On my skis, I glide over the powdery snow, As I look at the jump I know, This is probably a bad idea I hope I land on my skis, After I land, I ski down super fast, And as long as I don’t end up in a cast, Today's skiing was a blast! Valentines Day
Vacation has arrived, chilly February nights. Valentine's day, sweets and turkish delights. Cupid's arrow, alright. Pink, red, white. My insight, on love; it's like a soft dove. Sweet pecks from above. My gift, chubby puppies, like guppies from the sea. This Valentine’s day, i’ll be happy. Just wait, you’ll see. -Charlie On the dark side of the moon where the real me resides,
I feel everything I've hidden come back to life. The mirror beckons me to come watch, as every last thread is cut apart. Control is lost and hands shake, breath no longer works and my knees give out of their locked in place. Hands that touched where they shouldn't have, death which came when I needed someone the most.Empty bottles of the drink I despise, loud voices yelling about who I can and can't love. Even more than that, I come back to the camera of my phone and watch as I sit all alone. I ran from help, I left the scene, it was only time for my emotions to intervene. I'm sorry I don't want to be happy, I'm sorry I can't be on top. These working hands that lie ¨Its for the betterment of this world not because I can't stop¨ Why do I lie? What started out as innocence quickly was squashed by thunder and rain of this cynical world. So now all I can do is sit alone, on top of the world but feeling below. I am what so many people hunger for but how can you tell such spry young faces that everything they desire will leave them on the dark side of the moon where one can never run the same races. We'll never meet in the middle, we'll always be in disarray, what one earns another one is disconcerted. Any one that knows me knows I like music. In the beginning of the pandemic, I had to go to Chatham, NY because my parent’s business was deemed essential. I had an hour drive there and back, and we would listen to old bands in the car the whole time, and I discovered many cool bands. I liked the 80’s bands the best, and I wanted to share some bands that I had discovered on those trips. Duran Duran was a band created in 1978, consisting of Simon Le Bon, John Taylor, Roger Taylor, Andy Taylor, and Nick Rhodes. I like the sound of their music. I recommend the songs “Hungry like the Wolf”, “Rio”, and “Save a Prayer”. Depeche Mode was a band formed in 1980, and the original members were Dave Gahan, Martin Gore, Andrew Fletcher, and Vince Clark, but Vince left and was replaced by Alan Wilder. I like how Depeche Mode sings about things in the happening in the world. I think you will like their songs “Shake the Disease”, “Enjoy the Silence”, and “People are People”. Finally, Electric Light Orchestra, or ELO was a band formed in 1970 by Jeff Lynne, Richard Tandy, and Bev Bevan. They helped make the soundtrack for the 1980 movie Xanadu. I like their groove, and the combination of falsettos and base voices. I recommend their songs “Don’t Bring Me Down”, “All Over The World”, and “The Fall”, which they did for Xanadu. I hope you try out some of their songs.
