From Sr. Heath: "The kids in the BillionGraves project did a phenomenal job. They photographed 6,347 gravestones in St. Peter's and Elmwood cemeteries Wednesday, Thursday, and part of Friday morning. They then went to the Water Street Cemetery (in front of the fire station) and photographed 378 stones. Friday afternoon was spent in the Mahaiwe Cemetery (by Big Y), where they did 1,172 stones. We found the grave of WEB DuBois there, as well as the grave of Congressional Medal of Honor winner Frederick Deland. All of the images are now on the BillionGraves website, where they are searchable for those looking for their ancestors. All of the photos have a GPS tag to make them easily located."
